House,Admiral Herschel (-1991) Anita's husband, whom she married in 1937. Anita and the Admiral were married for 54 years.

House,Linda~ Anita's eldest daughter.

House,Sandra~ Anita's youngest daugher. Sandra died in 1998.

Hurrell,George (1904-1992) The most prestigous glamour photographer who took many of Anita's most famous and iconic photographs. Hurrell worked at MGM from 1930 to 1933. Hurrell also took the stills for 'Free and Easy'.

Laemmle Jr,Carl (1908-1979) Son of Carl Laemmle Sr, founder of Universal Studios. Laemmle Jr dated Anita on and off between 1928 and 1931. Anita managed to get Carl's cousin Carla Laemmle a small part in 'The Broadway Melody'.

Mussolini,Benito (1883-1945) Fascist dictator of Italy. (1922-1943). Mussolini adored Miss Page and wrote to her many times during Anita's MGM years. Anita's mother would secretly sign photographs of Anita for Mussolini.

Nagel,Conrad (1897-1970) co-star in 'The Hollywood Revue of 1929'. Conrad sung 'You Were Meant For Me' to Anita, as did Charles King in 'The Broadway Melody'.

Owsley,Monroe (1900-1937) Personal friend and admirer of Anita's. Owsley first introduced Anita to her future husband Admiral Herschel House at the Hotel Del Colorado. Weeks later Owsley died at the Hotel Del. The hotel is supposedly haunted by his ghost.

Paramount~ Founded in 1912, by Adolph Zukor. Paramount was one of the biggest studios during the silent era.

Pomares,Marino (-1951) Anita's father.

Pomares,Maude (-1943) Anita's mother. During Anita's Hollywood years Maude would help answer fan mail, drive Anita to and from the studio and make her dresses to wear.

Powers,John Robert (1892-1977) actor and founder of 'John Robert Powers Agency' which dealt with modelling. Anita was once a model for Mr Powers' agency in the mid 1920's.

Roosevelt Hotel~ situated on Hollywood Boulevard, first opened its doors in 1927. The Academy Awards were held here in 1929. Anita celebrated her 21st birthday at the hotel with a party thrown by L.B Mayer. Robert Young was Anita's date. Guests included Jean Harlow, Marion Davies and Robert Montgomery.

Rose,Billy (1899-1966) impresario, lyricist and theatrical showman. Anita starred in Billy Rose's 'Crazy Quilt' in 1934.

San Diego~ Anita and Admiral Herschel House lived here for many years.

Thaw,Harry Kendall (1871-1947) Most famous for the murder of Stanford White, Thaw went into the film business in the late 1920's. Founder of 'Kenilworth Studios', Thaw cast Anita in a few films on the East coast in 1926, and took both Anita and Susan Hughes to Hollywood in December 1927 to dispose of their contracts.

Tijuana~ Anita married song writer Nacio Herb Brown here in 1934, the marriage was later annulled.

Todd,Thelma (1905-1935) actress and friend of Anita. Anita was present at the party the night Thelma Todd phoned to say she couldn't attend. Miss Todd died that very night.

Toomey,Regis (1898-1991) co-star in 'Soldiers of the Storm'.

Universal~ Film studio founded in 1912 by Carl Laemmle. Anita was loaned out to Universal in 1930 for 'Little Accident'.
